Obituary
George J. Darbone died at
4:04 a.m.
Thursday, April 13, 2017, in a local hospital.
He was a native of Opelousas, La., and moved to Lake Charles, La., where he began working at Citgo Refinery for 42 years.
Survivors include his five sons, Marciano, Davidson, Xavier, George Jr. and Fitzgerald Darbone; two daughters, Rosalind D. Aubry and Mercedes Darbone.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Mercedes Darbone; three brothers, Warren Gobert, Ollie Gobert and Wilton Semien; and mother, Andreale Semien.
