Geralyn Simon entered into eternal rest on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, in Lake Charles, La. She was a lifetime resident of Lake Charles.

Geralyn leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter, Gia Collins; her fiancée, Freddie Hawkins; three grandchildren, Alaysia, Brandon and Niara; siblings, Deborah (Irvin) Guillory, Kevin (Gerlyn) Simon and Keith Simon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Simon and Gustavia Simon-Augustine; brother, Harvey Simon; and her late husband, Richard Brown.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Harbor Hospice.

Service date: October 30, 2015

Funeral service for Geralyn will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015. Visitation will be at Combre Funeral Home from 7:30 a.m. until 10:40 a.m. with the funeral following immediately after at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. in Combre Funeral Home.
