Gloria Cezere Fontenot passed away at the age of 71, in a local hospital.

Gloria moved to Lake Charles at the age of 19 where she met and married Nolton Fontenot. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and a Christian Mother. She worked at St. Patrick''s Hospital for 35 years as the Head Staffing clerk before retiring.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 51 years, Nolton Fontenot; her sister Katherine Cezere; 2 sons, Richard (Rhonda) Fontenot and Jocko (Andrea) Fontenot; 7 grandchildren; and 5 siblings. She was proceeded in death by her parents Guy and Serenia Cezere; her daughter, Monique Fontenot; 1 sister and 3 brothers.

Funeral services for Gloria Cezere Fontenot will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. at Combre Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Combre Funeral Home.
