Lake Charles – Gloria Mae Wallace 82, was called home on Tuesday, June 5 in her residence.

She was a  member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Elmore Garner.   "Mother" as she was known, was a faithful member of the Senior Usher Board.  She was the Worthy Matron of Deborah Youth Council #136 and a member of American Woodman and Prince Hall Chapter #37 Order of the Eastern Star.

Her funeral will be at 1 pm Saturday, June 9, in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.  The Rev. Elmore Garner will officiate.  Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park cemetery under the direction of Combre Funeral Home.  Visitation is from 11 am Saturday in the church.
