Lake Charles – Grace Rigmaiden was called home at the age of 85 on Monday, January 9, in a local nursing home.

She was born on May 24, 1926 to Martin and Theresa Malbrough in Grand Coteau, Louisiana. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers. She was preceded in death by her husband Strongy Rigmaiden, her parents Marin and Theresa Malbrough; sisters Alberta Wilrye, Zula Lewis, Arah Ecter, Clayoula Etienne and Doris Malbrough; brothers Alex, Rogers and Wilford Malbrough.

Survivors include her only child, Joyce Lee Malvo of Westlake, Louisiana, granddaughters; Raphietta London of Landcaster, TX and Anna Marie Delafosse of Westlake; 4 great grandchildren: Berndell Malvo, Michael Wayne London, Jr., Theresa Guiton Shelton and Amanda Guiton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her funeral will ve at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 14, in St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Westlake. The Very Rev. Bert Barel will officiate. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery under the direction of Combre Funeral Home. Visitation is from 9 a.m. Saturday in the church.
