She was born to the late Davis J Shinnett and CoraRoberts on Sept 23,1942, She was raised in Lake Charles Louisiana. She was a retired veteran of the Navy,Gretchen is survived by one Aunt Emma Brewster and one Sister Dalena M Shinnett, Nieces Ireahna Moore and Darica Vezia and nephew Corey Doucet Jr., She is also survived one by Brother Raymond Roberts she also has three children she raised as her own Anna Nicole and Katera Crossley, Lydia Lindsey , Ashley Allen and Malachi Lindsey , and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly .
