Lake Charles- Hazel H. Drumgoole, 79, died at 10:02 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.

She was a native of Mer Rouge, Louisiana and lived in Lake Charles, Louisiana for more than 50 years. She was a member of New Sunlight Baptist Church where she was a member of the Women Home Mission and Condolence Committee. Hazel was also a former daycare associate and foster grandparent. Survivors include three children, Jacqueline Mallet of Baton Rouge, LA; Belva Beasley of Lake Charles, LA; Roderick Drumgoole of Leesport, PA; four sisters, Bettye Keeter of Lake Charles, LA; Helen Hill of Mobile, AL; Sadie Rose of Bastrop, LA; Callie Wilson of Mer Rouge, LA; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012 in New Sunlight Baptist Church of Lake Charles, LA. The Rev. Harold Robinson will officiate.

Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park of Lake Charles, LA under the direction of Combre Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation is from 9 a.m. Saturday in the church.
