Heather RoShawn Ceasar
was born to Swiney and Ella Mae Ceasar on December 21,1974 in Kinder, La. The third born of five children. She was a devout Catholic and attended church regularly. Heather graduated from Washington Marion Magnet High School in 1992, and went on to earn a Batchelor of Science in Biology from McNeese State University in December 1998.

She moved to Houston, Tx and began her career in 2000. Heather was an Associate Scientist at Cogenics, Inc., a Laboratory Technician at ATC Associates, Inc, a Research Analyst for the Office of Research, and a Research Technician for the Infectious Disease Laboratory and the Human Genome Sequencing Center all at Baylor College of Medicine. Heather was also apart of several research teams in the arena of Infectious Disease with a concentration on MRSA. Her work has been cited in the American Society for Microbiology Volume 48 #10 2004 and The Journal of Infectious Disease Volume 191 #7 April 1, 2005.
Heather was very active in politics and served as a pole worker for local and state elections.


On Saturday June 5, 2021 Heather went home to be with the Lord after a long hard fought battle with numerous health conditions while surrounded by her family. She fought until the end and left this world on her own terms just as she lived it. Heather was a very intelligent, beautiful, and loving woman. She woke us up with good mornings, wished us sweet dreams at night, and she made sure we had our coupons. Heather was the World's Greatest Aunt and Godmother, her babies knew she loved them and they loved her. Visits always included lots of hugs, kisses, and the snack box.

Heather leaves to mourn her passing her mother Ella Mae Ceasar of Lake Charles, La; siblings - Swiney Ceasar Jr (Cassandra) of Kinder, La, Melanie Deshawn Ceasar-Amponsah (John) of Stafford, Tx, Danielle Nashawn Ceasar-Jones (Stacey) Humble, Tx & Alana Lashawn Ceasar-John (Sheldon) of Jacksonville, Fl. Her nieces and nephews Cory, Destiny, Derric, Jaylyn, Sadie, Katieana, Kadie, Jocelyn, Devyn, Janee, Swiney III, Brayden, and King. Great nieces and nephews Ambria, Cory Jr., Aiden, Ava, Maddox, Kain, Myles, Knox, Auren, Malik, Brooklynn, and Julius. Her two godchildren Hailey and Katieana, and her godbrother Kevin.
