Helen Theresa Moore, 77, departed this life on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. She was born March 3, 1938, in Church Point, La. to Davis Duplechain and Rena Meche Duplechain. She was raised in Lake Charles, LA, but she had fond memories of Topeka, Kansas and Sherman, Texas, also calling them home. She did return to Lake Charles where she lived for 45 years. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family. Mrs. Moore enjoyed sewing, reading and taking walks.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray Cecil Moore, and four siblings Mary Mildred, Elton Lee, Paul Ray, and Joseph Walter.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three children, Brigitte Denise Dock (Johnel), Reginald Edgar Moore (Elena) and Ray Cecil Moore, Jr.; eight grandchildren, Ray Moore III, Desmond Moore (Niki ), Deven Moore, Johnel Dock, Jr., Garrett Trotta (Shannon), Isiah Moore, Sarah Moore, and Sophia Moore ; sisters, Dianne Malveaux and Rena Fay Victorian; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth DeJean, Paula Mitchell (Clyde), Jessica Conrad (Russ), Andrew Malveaux, and Joshua Victorian. Eight great grandchildren, numerous family, friends and her special grand-dog, Anna.
