Herman Green (90) departed this life on Monday, April 21, 2025 while in Hospice Care.

He was born on September 22, 1934 to the late Preston Green and the late Beulah Green of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was the brother of the late Beretta Joubert of Lake Charles and the late Sonny Green of Buffalo, New York.

He worked as a laborer for many years before retiring to go fishing and work in his garden.

Herman leaves to cherish his memories are four sons, Manuel Morais (Katie) of Palestine, Texas, George Green (Beverly), Darrell Green and John Green; two daughters, Carmen Green and Karen Green all of the Westlake-Lake Charles area. Also cherishing his memory are 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing and visitation for Herman Green will be Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m in Combre Funeral Home.
