Jack Lofton Jr., 81,entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 8, 2014.

He was the son ofJack Lofton, Sr and Laura Garrett-Lofton of St. Martinville, Lousiana. He is survived by his loving devoted wife, Lucy Lofton; two stepdaughters Brigette Ann Davis (Randall), Isabella Vital (Wayne); two stepsons Adam Malveaux and Arnold Malveaux (Beverly). He was grandpa to Brittany Davis, Stephany Rideaux, Derrick Rideaux (Jornae), Donald Malveaux (Janeca), Arnold Malveaux, Jr., Amber Poullard, Andrew Malveaux and Jessica Conrad (Russ). He is also survived by his grandson, Eric Williams (Stephanie), two great granddaughters, Breauna and Mia; two nieces, Pasty Pappillion, Betty Fontenot (Allen) and a host of more family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jack Lofton Sr., Laura Garrett-Lofton; two sisters, Laura Dee Simmons, Lorenza "Frankie" Smith; two brothers, Richard Smith Sr. and Frank Smith, Jr.

Jack Lofton Jr. retired from L''Auberge Casino Resort. He was a member of Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church.

He will be missed and forever loved by all of us.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Service date: December 13, 2014

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th at Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10am-1:00pm and the funeral will begin promptly at 1:30pm under the direction of Pastor Samuel C. Tolbert.
