Lake Charles – Funeral service for James A. "Bull" Beloney, age 85, will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11:00 am at United Christian Fellowship Church.  Pastor Ronald L. Mayo will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:00am-11:00am.

James was a native of Gueydan, LA and moved to Lake Charles, LA in 1952.  He was an Army veteran.  He was employed with the Lake Charles Stevedores for nearly forty years until his retirement. James had a passion for cooking, fishing, hunting and playing dominoes.  His family meant everything to him.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ida M. Beloney of Lake Charles, LA; daughter, Gwynda (John) Citizen; two sons, Terry Beloney, Lake Charles, LA; Lance (Lisa) Beloney, Katy, TX; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Hazel LaPointe, of Beaumont, TX; Hilda (Joseph) Wilson, Los Angeles, CA; Earline Mayfield, Montgomery, AL; five brothers, Cecil (Bobbie) Beloney, Charles Beloney, and Earnest Beloney all of Los Angeles, CA; Leslie (Hazel) Beloney of Beaumont, TX; Percy (Yvonne) Beloney, Tucson, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

James is preceded in death by his parents Emile and Georgia Beloney; daughter, Cynthia J. (Beloney) Housley; son, Michael J. Beloney, Sr.; two brothers, Robert Williams and Ivory Beloney; two sisters, Daisy Taylor and Mary Bolden.
