James Daniel LeBlanc, Sr. was born on July 21, 1955 in Lafayette, LA to the late Hester and Herbert LeBlanc, Sr. His family relocated to Lake Charles, LA when he was a child. He remained a resident of Lake Charles until his untimely death. He was affectionately known as "Dan" by those who were close to him. He was a graduate of Washington High School, and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Dan met Miss Diana Green and fell in love. On September 30, 1983, they united in marriage. To their union, three sons were born; James Daniel, Jr., Marshall, and Corey LeBlanc. On April 4, 2017, God saw that Dan was growing tired and needed rest. He took him by the hand, and whispered, "I only take the best. Come with me. You have finished your race. Now, it is time to take your place." Dan was preceded in death by this parents, Hester and Herbert LeBlanc; three sons, Byron Chavis, Marshall LeBlanc, and Corey LeBlanc; two sisters, Sailor LeBlanc Gilbert and Romonia Nell Ceasar. He leaves to mourn his wife, Diana G. LeBlanc and one son, James Daniel LeBlanc, Jr. of Lake Charles, LA; four granddaughters; three brothers, Herbert Jr., Raymond, and Davis LeBlanc, Sr.; and two sisters, Dianna Semien and Claudy Nevels all of Lake Charles, LA.; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
