Joseph Sidney Cross Jr. was born in Iowa, La on April 12, 1939 to the lateJoseph Sidney Cross Sr. and Feleman Carrier. Mr. Sidney Cross, 76 died at 7:10am, April 22, 2015 at a local hospital. He moved to Lake Charles, La in 1964and retired after working 50 years in the trucking industry. His last place ofemployment was Enterprise Trucking Company. He leaves to cherish hismemory, his wife of 50 years Mary Viola Cross, three children; Earl Joseph Crossof Lake Charles, La, Eric Joseph Cross (Tamara) of Pearland, Tx, and SamanthaMarie Cross-Wells (Eric) of Fresno, Tx. One brother Leon Cross of Orange, Tx,Two sisters Gertie Mae Charles of Lake Charles, La and Virginia Case of Fresno, Tx.Seven grandchildren, one God-Daughter, his loving dog Cinnamon and a host ofnieces and newphews.

His viewing will be May 2, 2015 at Combre Funeral Home from 9 am to 11:45 am and Funeral will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at12 pm. Burial will be at Combre Cemetary.
