Joseph Ernest Hebert Jr., born in Lake Charles, LA, July 3, 1959, son of  Hilda Johnson and the late Joseph Ernest Hebert Sr., passed away on Sunday October 28, 2018 at the age of 59.

Joseph was a graduate of W.O. Boston High School and he also attended Lake Charles High School. Joseph obtained an Associate degree from SWCC in 1980. He joined the Air force in 1980 which he served 21 years, earning a host of medals, ribbons and awards, domestic and abroad, retiring as a Master Sergeant.

Joseph obeyed the gospel and was baptized into Christ on July 10, 1976 at Mill Street Church of Christ in Lake Charles, LA.

Left to cherish his memories are his, mother, Hilda Johnson, two daughters, Kori and Kelly Hebert from Panama City, FL, one son, Joseph Ernest Hebert III, Panama City, FL; three grandsons; Khalil Hebert, Jeremiah Hebert and Henry Hebert; sisters; Vanessa Williams of Lake Charles, LA, Rhoda Howard of Portsmouth, VA, Pamela Goodley(Cedric) Carolyn Hebert, Shelia Hebert, of Lake Charles, LA; one stepsister; Glenda Latour of Lake Charles LA, three brothers; Morris (Lisa) Williams, Perry M. Williams of Lake Charles, LA, Larry Hebert of Arlington TX., three stepbrothers; Terry Joseph, Gary Joseph, Glen Joseph all of Lake Charles, LA. His companion, Simone Wilson, several aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Ernest Hebert Sr., sisters; Ernestine Hebert Allen, Brenda Hebert, Jackie Hebert, brothers; Nicholas Hebert and Carl L. Thomas.
