Joseph "Lil Joe" Jones, Jr., 20 passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014.

He was the second child born to Joseph and Terri Washington-Jones born January 19, 1994 in Lake Charles, LA. He was a 2011 graduate of Westlake High School. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Jo''Leigh Marie. Lil Joe was into writing and making beats for music. He also enjoyed working on his old school cars and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Horace Washington, Jr. and John Pradia and his aunt Gilda Jones. He is survived by both of his parents, his daughter, Jo''Leigh Marie Jones; 2 sisters, Mariah Angelique Washington of Atlanta, GA and Jazmine Ki''ara Washington of Lake Charles, LA; his great-grandmother, Thelma Powers of Natchez, MS, whom he also enjoyed spending time with watching old movies and talking to; grandmothers, Elaine Powers and Hazel Washington both of Lake Charles, LA; grandparents, James & Mary Howard of Lake Charles, LA, and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Service date: August 30,2014

Visitation will be Saturday August 30, 2014 at Combre Funeral Home located at 1200 Mill Street, Lake Charles, LA 70601 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm with funeral following immediately after also at Combre Funeral Home. Pastor Alvin Noel of True Light Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be at Combre Memorial Park, 2701 Opelousas St, Lake Charles, LA .
