IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joyce "Daisy"
Broussard
September 3, 1943 – July 13, 2022
Celebration of Life,
If you guys are reading this now, I have finally danced my way into Heaven.
I was born on September 3, 1943 in Carenco, Louisiana. I am the oldest, of
4 children born to; Lucille and Pelton Comeaux. Looking back, being raised in
Westlake, Louisiana it was filled with a lot of relative love just a door away. I
have always had a lot of responsibilities throughout my life. I worked most
of my life in fashion sales owning a store and. later managing several private
retail shops. However, caregiving always came natural to me. Some even
relied on me for medical advice. (You know I could have been a nurse).
I've had several nick names throughout my life and most know me as
"Daisy". No matter which nick name you called me by I would answer. On
Wednesday, July 13, 2022 I heard my name called as my mind and body
grew weak. I was ready for the journey and feel blessed to have had my
daughter's Michele Broussard and Tanya (Victor) Lavine who have had to
make choices for me when I wasn't able to make my own.
I can't wait to be with those that have gone before me and I know we are
going to have a great time together; my parent's Lucille & Pelton Comeaux,
Debra & Donald Comeaux Sr. and Damian Comeaux.
I will continue to walk beside my sisters' Geraldine (Woodrow) Hollier and
Patsie (John) Malveaux. My legacy is left with my 4 grandchildren and 1
great grand baby. There are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
who I hold dear to my heart. This is not good-bye. Pray, sing & dance until
we meet again.
