On August 24, 1965, Judy Bias Thomas also known as "Dee Dee" was born to the late
Shirley Bias Sr. and Velma Bias in Pineville, Louisiana. She later moved to Lake Charles,
Louisiana where she has been a residence for over 40 years. Judy graduated from Marion High School and attended McNeese State University. A retired school teacher, who took great pride working with children. Judy was united in Holy Matrimony to Phillip Thomas onOctober 17, 1987.
With this union they were blessed with 2 children.
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith"
Judy departed this life on Friday January 15, 2015 with her husband and family by her side. Preceding her in death was her mother, father, sister, and her mother and father in law. Cherishing her loving memory she leaves her husband Phillip Thomas, daughter Lorita Thomas, son Desmond Thomas, daughter in law Kayla Thomas, two grandkids Khalil and Brooklyn Thomas, and two step grandkids Amari and Aniyah all of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Her memories will also be cherished by siblings Dorothy Thomas (Willard), Patricia Bias, Stephanie Frank, Shirley Bias Jr. (Linda), Darrel Bias Sr. (Charlotte), Larry Bias (Elaine), Ladray Bias Sr. (Lynn), Ronnie Bias (Karen); all of Lake Charles, LA.,Carrie Jones Patterson (Phillip) and Catherine Thomas Jett (Henry), of Houston, TX., and Anthony Bias (Mary) of Baton Rouge, LA; Brother in laws; Eddie and Marvin Thomas, Sister in law Sabrina Thomas, a host of loving family members and close friends, and her dearest friend, sister, confidant, partner in crime Alvisia Williams.
We all will hold on to the memories we shared with Judy in our hearts. Her loving spirit, her ability to make us laugh, and how she touched each of our lives in her own special way will alwaysremain.
