Julia Weldon Robinson, 96, of Lake Charles, La went home to be with
the Lord on January 18, 2019 in Houston, Texas. She was born
January 19, 1922 in Garland, La , the daughter of the late Charles and
Eleanor Weldon. Julia became a Christian at an early age and
attended New Emmanuel Baptist Church for most of he r adult life .

She obtained her bachelor's degree in English Education at Leland
College in Baker, La in 1943. Julia married Andrew J. Robinson in 1945
in Lake Charles, La. They were successful business owners in the
community while she held a rewarding teaching career for 44 years,
dedicating the latter years of her career to special needs children.

She is lovingly survived by one daugh t er, Marve Ann Robinson Sevier
and devoted son-in-law, Michael Ellis Sevier, both of Lake Charles ; a
loving granddaughter, Earlandra Junell Ringo (Chadwick Finnie) of
Houston , Texas, and loving grandson, Jerome Claude Ringo II (Jennifer
Comeaux) of Lake Charles , La; three great grandchildren Sarah
Elizabeth Ringo and Jimmie Lee Ringo of Houston, Texas, and Jayda
Elisabeth Ringo of Lake Charles , Louisiana, and a host of devoted
nieces , nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Robinson, great
granddaughter , Lillian Eleanor Watson parents, Charles and Eleanor
Weldon and siblings , Clara Linda McCall, Willie Weldon, Ollie Mae
Johnson , and Timothy Weldon, Sr.
