In Memoriam

Katherine ("Kat") was born to Franklin and Lena Guillory Rougeau on August 11, 1947. She graduated from Washington High School, then attended University of South Louisiana (now known as University of Louisiana at Lafayette).

Discovering her path in life, Kat tried her hand as a Dental Assistant but fainted at the first sight of blood. Moving on, she soon learned that she had a knack for sales, working in retail at Sears and JCPenney, and selling insurance at Liberty Mutual.

Realizing she also had a talent for management, she became a Pit Boss at Players Club, then at L'Auberge Casino Resort.

Kat is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert C. Jennings.

She leaves two children, Stefan Craig Jennings and Kendra Rachelle Jennings; six grandchildren including Brandi, Jaron, and Jasmin; four sisters, Patricia, Padua, Katie, and Victoria; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

An excellent cook, Kat loved baking, gardening, and sewing. She made a lasting impression on each of us and will truly be missed.
