Katherine Ann Moore Perrodin was born on January 31, 1948, to the late Willie Moore Sr. and Ruth Reed Moore in Lake Charles, LA. She departed this life on December 16, 2023. Katherine Moore as baptized at Zion Travelers Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Reverend Johnson and was still a member under current Pastor Herman Weston. She was an entrepreneur, but her passion was being a beautician and serving the Lord. Katherine was devoted her family. She was a loving and giving person, always willing to lend a helping hand. She was loved by everyone, especially by God.

Cherishing her memories are her Husband, Lawrence Perrodin; Three Daughters, Donna (Ivory) Simon, Staci Carter (James McGowen) and Shelly Lecompte all of Houston, TX; One Son, Floyd (Carolyn) Cross of Virginia Beach, VA; Seven Grandchildren, Nicholas Simon, Brionna Carter (Larry Monroe), Brinae Carter (Cherelle Smith}, Alexis Lecompte, Ebony Simon, Mya Clayton and Danielle Walker all of Houston, TX; Six Great Grandchildren, Ja'Niyah Carter, Ja'leyah Carter, Lamia Fuller, Ke'rionna Carter, Jonathan Lemelle, Jr. and Faith Lecompte; a Special Niece, Tanna Brown of Iowa, LA; Four Sisters, Maudry Marshall, Wilma Charles, Francis Moore, and Gwendolyn (Carnell) Marable all of Iowa, LA and One Brother, Kenneth (Amelia) Moore, Sr. of Temple Hills, MD; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Other Relatives and Friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her' Parents; Late Husband, Henry Joseph Cross (4 beautiful children were born from this union); Three Brothers, Willie Moore Jr., Lloyd Anthony (Pip) Moore, Floyd Moore; Four Sisters, Margaret Lute, Betty Granderson, Rose Charles and Brenda Moore; and her beloved Son-In-Law, Larry Lee Carter Jr.
