Kaylon Norman Jackson, 33, of Lake Charles entered into eternal life on Sept. 10,2013. He was a native of Iowa and graduated from Iowa High School. He was a member of Zion Travelers Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Herman Weston.

Survivors include his wife, Christy Guillory Jacksonof Lake Charles; two sons, Kaiden Nicholas and Cristian Nabron, both of Lake Charles; his father, Earely (Jackie) Carvin; his mother, Carolyn Jackson Renthrope, all of Lake Charles; his stepfather, Terry Renthrope of Iowa; his brothers, Phillip Jack-son of Lake Charles, Dedric (Saundra) Carvin of Phoenix, Ariz.; his stepbrother, Bran-non Davis of Lake Charles; his sisters, Tawana Jackson (Byron) Owens, Tonia (Larry) Cooper, Shemika (Fredrick) Ojoro, all of Lake Charles; his stepsister, LaTanya Davis of Lake Charles; his maternal grandfather, Earlis (Ann) Jacob; his paternal grand-mother, Ledgia Carvin; his godmother, Laura Lambert; his godson, Jaylen Papillion; his goddaughter, Heather Green, all of Lake Charles; his father and mother-in-law, Hubert (Shirley) Guillory of Church Point; a host of neph-ews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; his pastor, the Rev. Herman Weston and the Zion Travelers Baptist Church family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Combre Funeral Home of Lake Charles. On Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, visitation will start at 9 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church located at 2605 Poe Street in Lake Charles. The Rev. Robert Owens is pastor, and the Rev. Herman Weston will officiate. Interment will follow at Combre Memorial Park.
