Kevin Anthony Declouette, age 60, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, peacefully transitioned on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022. Kevin was born on January 24th, 1962, to his parents Tony and Nathalie (Guillory) Declouette.
Kevin was a loving, caring and joyful man who loved his parents, family and friends. Everyone who met Kevin always found him smiling and wanting to talk. He called everyone "Bae-Bae". Many people may remember him sitting in the soda booth at the IHM Church Bazaars with his Dad. Kevin loved playing bingo, bowling and going to the Shattuck Street Recreation Swimming Pool in past summers. He attended Martha Street Hope Center and CARC in Lake Charles. He was a long time resident of the CARC Royal Street group home in Lake Charles from 2004 -2021. For the past year, he was a resident of Pecan Grove Training Center in Alexandria, LA. Kevin worked several jobs and was very proud of his work. He also was a past participant in the annual Special Olympics. He loved watching wrestling with his Dad, listening and dancing to music, spending time with family and the holidays. He above all loved eating his Mother's good cooking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony Declouette and Nathalie (Guillory) Declouette. His maternal grandparents, Simon and Severine (Guillory) Guillory and his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Cora B. (Fontenot) Declouette.
