Kevin Renard Dejean passed away on Monday June 30, 2014 surrounded by his family and friends after a lengthy illness.He attended W. O. Boston High School and ITT Tech.He worked as an Electrician.He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Joseph Dejean Sr. and Elmer Lee Dejean; maternal grandparents Mitchell Guidry and Cora Lee Morris; paternal grandparents Adoff and Lucy Dejean, and nephew Jerome Dejean II..He leaves to cherish his memory seven brothers:Robert Lee (Carol) Dejean Sr. of Houston, Tx; Willie Joseph (Carol) Dejean Jr., Frederick (Karen) Dejean, Jerome (Elizabeth) Dejean I, Michael Anthony (Monita) Dejean I, Marcus Dejean, and Damon Demetrius (Christie) Dejean all of Lake Charles.Two sisters: Edieth Dejean Stevenson and Annette Dejean (Alvin) Smith of Lake Charles.He leaves behind a special Companion, Deborah Charles and some very special friends Frankie Bell and Judy and Wayne Powell.He will be able to watch and look over his great aunt Annie Mae Booker, Aunt Betty Bankhead, and Aunt Lovey Dejean; as well as his Uncles Don E. Morris and Aaron Wayne Morris. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Services will be held Saturday July 5, 2014 at Evergreen Baptist Church.Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.with the service to follow at 11 a.m.
