IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lana Yvette
Perrodin
November 12, 1962 – April 10, 2021
Lana Yvette Perrodin was known by many as "Yvette, Sam, Samantha and Lana". She was born on November 12, 1962 in Lake Charles, Louisiana and was the younger child to Mary DeVille Perrodin and the late Nolan Perrodin. Our Heavenly Father called her home April 10, 2021.
She attended and graduated from Lake Charles High School in 1980. She spent most of her adult life working in retail - JC Penney's, The White House, CitiTrends, Bath & Body Works, just to name a few. In her spare time, she loved helping people, giving herself to God and spoiling her godchildren's children and others.
She was a joyful person, always had kind words for everyone, she was a counselor to some and loved by many, she also loved her family and friends. She was spoiled rotten as a child by everyone and her family and friends, especially her Dad, and mainly her Uncle Ernest and Aunt Lillian. She also loved to decorate she could take a card box and make it look like a mansion.
She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age, she was baptized, made her Holy Communion and Confirmation in the Catholic religion. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. One thing dearest to her heart was helping people from all walks of life through Christ. She had a very intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Mary DeVille Perrodin; her nephew/godson, Nicholas (Sabrina Frazier) Perrodin, Alyssa Perrodin-(Terrence) Mitchell; and her great niece, Nickia (KeKe) Perrodin; her godfather, Ricky Paul Fontenot; Uncles, Junius Perrodin, Shirley and George Ozenne; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nolan Perrodin; brothers, Brian and Leon; maternal and paternal grandparents; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
