Larry Dale Sweet 65, was born August 16, 1949, in Lake Charles, Louisiana toAlbert Sr., and Dorothy Mae Morrow- Sweet. With the Christian guidance of his parents,he accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Emanuel Baptist Church inLake Charles.

Larry Dale Sweet grew up attending First Ward Colored School and graduated from W.O.Boston High School, class of 1967 in Calcasieu Parish School System; he was an honorstudent and member of the Cougar Club. Larry furthered his education, completingVocational Training at Lockheed Aircraft Maintenance School and worked at FirestoneRubber Plant in Lake Charles.

Larry Dale Sweet moved to Houston, TX in 1968 embarking on a career. He dedicated hisskills as a talented employee at Vogler Sheet Metal, Inc., for 30 years; for the past 10 years,he was also a skillful contributor at MatFab, Inc., until his illness.Larry Dale Sweet married Carol Ann Schexnayder in 1973. To that union, five boys wereborn: Robert, Eric, Terrence, Raphiel, and Raphiell Sweet; he was also blessed with abeautiful baby girl.

Larry had a daughter, Keysha, with Bernice Orphey. He was a loving and supportivefather, friend and son.

Larry Dale Sweet was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Albert and CarrieSweet; Father, Albert Sweet, Sr.; Brother, Albert Morris Sweet; and Son, Robert KeithSweet.

The memory of Larry Dale Sweet will be cherished by: his loving Mother -Dorothy MaeMorrow-Sweet, Moss Bluff, LA; Children- Keysha Orphey, San Jose, California; EricWayne (Alisha) Sweet of Dallas, TX; Terrence Dale Sweet, Raphiel Torey Sweet andRaphiell Corey(Ruth) Sweet of Houston, TX; Grandchildren - Terrence II, Terrence IIIand Erica; Siblings - Minnie Ruth Sweet-Goings, Floyd Wayne Sweet, Brenda Joyce Sweet,Claudette Naomi Reado, Jean Louetta Sweet, Richard Eugene (Latricia) Sweet,Clifford Ray (Felisha) Sweet, and Carrie Lynn (Clifford) Davis; Life Mate- Carol AnnSweet; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
