Laura Lee Gobert, of Lake Charles, Louisiana departed this life on Sunday, May 4, 2014. Mrs. Gobert was born in St. Landry Parish and raised in Lake Charles. She was born on December 21, 1947 to Cleo Jones and Helen Guillory Jones.

She was christened and raised in the Catholic faith. Laura was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Laura leaves to cherish her memory one son Larry Jones and two grandsons; one uncle Alex Guillory; and two cousins Elizabeth Guillory and Ann Morris.

Her funeral will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Marcus Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
