Lawrence Moses Harris

Lawrence Moses Harris "Larry" was born on October 17, 1959, in Lake Charles, LA to Loretta Harris.

Lawrence moved to Oakland, CA in May 1984, where he worked at the University of San Francisco Hospital as an Operating Room Technician. Lawrence returned to Lake Charles on New Year's Eve 2024.

Lawrence attended W.O. Boston High School, Class of 1978, where he was on the Football Team. Lawrence leaves to mourn his passing, wife Delta Hartman Harris of Lake Charles, LA, two sons Quentin Darnell Harris (Pearline) of Sacramento, CA, Vincent Lawdel Harris (Nerisha) of Pearland, TX, Grandchildren Vincent Khalil Harris, Violet Harris and Venice Harris all of Pearland, TX and Safarion Harris of Sacramento, CA, sister Carla Marie Harris of Lake Charles, LA, niece Alyssa Chantel Hebert (Brandon) of Lake Charles, LA, great niece Alayjah Shay Harris-Arcenceaux of Lake Charles, LA, great nephew Brandon Jamar Hebert, Jr of Lake Charles, LA, aunts, Bernadine Payne of Houston, TX, and Emily Pujo of Lake Charles, LA, cousins, Michael Vash Payne of Houston, TX, Pamela Denise Pujo of Dallas, TX, Jorita Estelle White of Lake Charles, LA and Shena Yvonne White of Lake Charles, LA, two sister in laws Debra Fruge, and Shirley Alexander, two brother in laws David Alexander (Vickie) all of Lake Charles, LA and Kariti Hartman of Hercules, CA and a host of other relatives, in-laws and friends. Lawrence was preceded in death by his mother Loretta Harris, his brother Roy Anthony ("Tony") Harris, grandmother Eloise Anderson Pujo, grandfather Roy Felix Pujo, aunts, Bonnie Pinkie White and Linda Mae Pujo and great-aunts Izola Anderson and Mae Anderson.

A Joyful Farewell for Lawrence is scheduled for May 31, 2025.
