L.B., age 65, was born October 22, 1953, in Ville Platte, LA to the late Angelica (Tezeno) Jacob and Carmmon Jacob Sr. He lived in Lake Charles, LA until after high school. He joined the U. S. Marines in 1972, and served his country for four years. He made his home in Vallejo, CA for many years and later, moved to Houston, TX until his death. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Houston, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelica and Carmmon Sr., maternal and paternal grandparents, one brother Donald R. Jacob and two nieces, Rena and Angelica Jacob.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Diane Guidry Jacob of Houston, TX, two daughters, Luciana Jacob of San Franciso, CA; Jaquilla (Lavelle) Montgomery of Suisun City, CA; one step daughter, Tamika Guidry of Houston, TX; ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Seven sisters; Helen (Sidney) Beaver, Bertha (Gary) Gobert, Gloria and Wanda Jacob, all of Lake Charles, LA; Rose (Barry) Edwards of Carencro, LA. Retha (Craig) Madison and Betty Jacob of Austin, TX. Five brothers, Kernist (Brenda) Jacob: Robert, Carmmon Jr.; and Martin Jacob all of Lake Charles, LA; David (Sandra) Jacob of Austin, TX; and a host of neices, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
