Leola Tanner departed her life on Saturday, December 27, 2014.

She was born May 25, 1934, in Westlake, Louisiana to Hazel and Willie Tanner.

Leola is survived by her children; Michael (Ruby) Chavis of Huffman, TX., Tina Chavis (Charles) Calhoun of San Diego, California, and Morris(Sherrie) Chavis of Lake Charles, La. Ten grandchildren; Jeremy Wayne Chavis, Derrick Chavis, Joselyn Hill, Antonia and Trisha Reyes,Tiffany Chavis, Darnell Chavis, Christopher Chavis, Kameisha Chavis, Kenneth Chavis, Erik Chavis and Troy Chavis. One sibling; Betsy Glover, best friend/cousin; Angie Lee Richard, one nephew; Leo Tanner of Raeford, N.C. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Leola is predeceased by her late husband Douglas Guidry, Sr. a native of Rayne, Louisiana. Also her parents, Hazel and Willie Tanner, siblings; Emilee Tezeno, Jeff Smith and twin brother; Leo Tanner .

SERVICE INFORMATION

Service date: December 31, 2014

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and funeral will be at 1:00 pm in Combre Funeral Home Chapel burial will be in Combre Memorial Park.
