Lilly Deville-Chretien was born in Holmwood, Louisiana born on April 10, 1933 and departed on
April 22, 2018 the age of 85, in local nursing home surrounded by her family. She is the daughter of the late Lindsey and the late Lilly (Fontenot) DeVille. She is a 1952 graduate of Sacred Heart High School.

Lilly was preceded in death by her husband the late Edward "Eddie" Chretien, her son Mark
Anthony Chretien, her grandson Jeremy Olivier, 3 brothers (Earnest DeVille, Roy DeVille,
Horace DeVille) and 4 sisters (Ceola Fretty, Rena Fonteno, Rose Ozenne and Anna Frank).

She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife
and loving mother. She enjoyed being with her family. She was a very caring person. She loved
to cook.

She is survived by her daughters, Gwendolyn Chretien-Berry (Michael) of Houston, Texas,
Gwen Chretien-Olivier (John) of Lake Charles, La; her sons, Edward Chretien Jr. (Leatrice),
Gregory Chretien (Mary) and Jeffrey ( Bam) Chretien (Janine) all of Lake Charles, La.; her sisters, Lena
Metoyer of San Francisco, CA and Mary Perrodin of Lake Charles, La, her sister-in-law, Olena
Chretien of Lake Charles, La .brother-in-law George Ozenne of Orangevale, California and 19
grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 2 great- great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
