Lindsey Fontenot Lavergne was born April 21, 1986, to Herbert Fontenot and Joyce Leger Fontenot. On February 21, 2023 she entered eternal rest.

Lindsey Fontenot Lavergne was a beloved daughter, mother, wife, and sister. She was kind, generous, and loving to everyone. She never met a stranger. Her kids and her husband were her world. The reply "No" was unknown to her
vocabulary.

Lindsey Fontenot –Lavergne accepted Christ at an early age. She was a proud graduate of Lake Charles Boston High School. Following High School, she pursued her dreams of becoming a Registered Nurse and graduated from
Excelsior University. Her passion was providing care for Home Health Hospice loving clients.

On October 8, 2017, she married the love of her life Joseph "Joey" Lavergne, Jr. Their love created three beautiful children, Joseph "Lil Joey" Cary Lavergne III, Chase Jude Lavergne, and Zoey Jolie Lavergne.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary Ann and George Leger, Willie Mae and Johnny Fontenot.

Left to cherish her memories her loving husband, Joseph "Joey" Lavergne, Jr; two sons, Joseph "Lil Joey" Cary Lavergne III and Chase Jude Lavergne; one daughter, Zoey Jolie Lavergne; mother, Joyce Leger Fontenot; father, Herbert Fontenot (Cynthia Arceneaux); two sisters, Leslie Fontenot Jordan (Marlon) and Lexis Hebert (Jesse); two brothers, Josh Fontenot (Tracey) and Justin Fontenot; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Billie Lavergne; brother-in-law, Jeremy Lavergne (Chandra) and sister-in-law, Tameeker Wilson and a host of nieces,
nephews other relatives and friends.
