It is with a heavy heart to announce Lori Hardy, 54, of Colorado Springs, Colorado has passed away in her home unexpectedly. She was born March 13, 1962 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Bernard and Maxine Evers. She departed this life on Friday April 29, 2016.

Although Lori was born and raised in Iowa, she spent most of her adult life in Louisiana. About 18 years ago, Frederick, spouse, and Lori moved to Colorado to fulfill some of their lifelong dreams. Even with her health problems, she helped everyone that she knew. She would make blankets for the homeless and things for her children and grandchildren.

To carry on her legacy are: Frederick Hardy, husband, of Colorado Springs, Co. Parents: Bernard and Maxine Evers, of Mount Vernon, Iowa. Two brothers: Gary Evers, and Darlene, wife, of Lake Charles, La. Harry Evers and Karen, wife, of Walker, Iowa. One sister: Gail Blackburn, and Randy, spouse, of Colorado Springs, Co. Daughter: Sarah Aguero, and Ernest, spouse, of Mesquite, Tx. Three step-daughters: LaTasha Hardy of Gonzales, Tx; LaTonya Hardy of San Antonio, Tx and LaToya Hardy of New Orleans, La. Nine grandchildren: Janie Aguero, Kelsey Hardy, Kalin Hardy, Akili Kennison, Kadin Hardy, Aaliyah Hardy, R. Jaelyn Harris, Aalyssa Luke, and Talia Ty Griffin and one great-grandchild, Tyron Hardy, both to make their appearances soon.

Visitation Friday May 6, 2016 from 6-9pm at: Combre Funeral Home. Funeral Service Saturday May 7, 2016 at 10am with graveside to immediately follow St John Bosco in Westlake, LA.
