Lou Bertha Thierry Jones, 86, died on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Lake Charles Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am from Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, January 9, 2016 Msgr. Charles Dubois will officiate. Mrs. Jones was a long-time parishioner of Sacred Heart Church before moving to the Gillis/Moss Bluff area where she attended St. Pius X Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of sixty-six years, Louis Jones, sons Norman (Glenda) of Carencro, Louisiana and Anthony (Sandra), special niece, Diana Jourdan, granddaughter, Dawn Walker (Ben), grandsons, Jonathan (Sophia) Jones of Lansing, Michigan, Gregory Jones of Lake Charles, Kyle (Lauren) Jones of Houston, great-grandchildren, Julian, Olivia and Landon and one sister, Mae Glory T. Guillory. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Santon and Thomasine Guillory Thierry, siblings; Albert Guillory, Gilbert Guillory, Elrick Guillory, Doreska Guillory, Houston Thierry, Florence Broussard, Florena Declouette, Eula Guillory Ledet, Celestine Melancon and Jacob Thierry and one grandson, Christopher Jones.

Service date: January 9, 2016

Visitation will commence at Combre Funeral Home on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 8:00a.m. until 9:45 a.m. The committal will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am from Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, January 9, 2016 Msgr. Charles Dubois will officiate.
