Louis Jones, 90, died Saturday, August 19 , 2017 at Opelousas General Hospital.  Mr. Jones was a long-time parishioner of Sacred Heart Church before moving to the Moss Bluff/Gillis area where he was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Norman (Glenda) of Carencro, Louisiana and Anthony (Sandra), special niece, Diana Jourdan, granddaughter, Dawn (Ben), Walker, grandsons, Jonathan (Sophia) Jones of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Gregory Jones of Lake Charles, Kyle (Lauren) Jones of Houston, great-grandchildren, Julian, Olivia and Landon, Numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustave and Simonia Jones, siblings; Clarence, M.C., Euria, Simon, Lillian, Edmonia, Locadie, Orena and Laura Lee and grandson, Christopher and his beloved wife of sixty-six years LouBertha.
