Louis Pete was born August 17, 1953 in Lake Charles LA. to the late Ambrose and Lillian Ardie(Hardy) Pete. Louis was one of eight children born through the unit of Ambrose and Lillian Ardie(Hardy) Pete. Louis was raised in

Mossville Louisiana where he was known as "Pete" or "Pop". In 1987 in Lake Charles LA. is where he met his life partner Viola Guillory. No children was born out of this unit. However in this unit he gained six children having a total

of seven children.

Pete was a man that whatever his hands could do he did. He was a plumber, handyman, lawnman, mechanic, and so much more. He loved sitting outdoors and enjoying nature. He also loved fishing, gardening, and raising rabbits. He

enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, spending time with great friends, his nephew, and family. He never met a stranger. Louis was always ready to greet everyone with a smile and a hug. He loved to help others in anyway he could.

Louis Pete departed his earthly life on Friday, November 19, 2021 at the age of 68, at a local nursing home. During his fight with illness he displayed a strong will to live. He trusted God and never complained even when he wasn't feeling

his best. Although he was sick he would still have a big smile on his face.

Those waiting to greet him are: his parents (Ambrose and Lillian), sister (Rita "Bayoune" Pete Joubert), four brothers Jessie, Hayward, Leroy, and Howard Pete), one daughter (Rose Guillory). Those left to cherish his memories are his life partner (Viola Guillory), Daughters Jennifer Guillory, Pam James) Mcwain, Sherry Guillory, one daughter (name and whereabouts unknown at this time), son (Tommy Lavergne), brothers (Edward "Sarah" Pete and Leonard Pete), His 20 beloved grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, other family members, nieces, nephews, and friends.
