Obituary

Lucille Foote, 84, born in Rayne, Louisiana to Gustave and Lorena Broussard was called home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2014 in a local hospital.

A native of Duson, she lived most of her life in Lake Charles. She retired from Muller''s Department Store after 32 years of service in the Azalea Room, as a pastry chef and was recognized by KPLC news for her mouthwatering pies.

She served her community with her husband by combining her love for sports with managing and coaching a local woman?s softball team for over 10 yrs. She was happiest working in her garden and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 62 years Albert Foote Sr., one son, Albert Foote Jr. (Lou Ann) of Lake Charles; four daughters , Barbara Tollette (Shelby) of Denver, CO; Patricia Foote, Janie Foote of Lake Charles; Sue Eslami (Anthony) of Houston, TX; one sister, Rose Sam of Duson, LA; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ruthalee Broussard and Mildred Duhon; one son- in-law, Anthony Eslami; one grandson, Chris Woods.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, March 3, 2014 at St. Henry''s Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Combre Funeral Home on Monday, March 3, 2014.
