Lucille Berard Richmond was born in Lafayette Louisiana to the late Avery Thomas Berard and Emile Berard on May 5, 1921. She attended Iberia Parish Training School, Sowela school of Nursing and Texas School of Nursing. She retired as a L.V. Nurse. She was married to the late Willie William Richmond. She was a Christian wife and mother.
Lucille was a member of the K.P.C. Ladies Auxiliary, Christian Mother of Immaculate Heart of Mary, and Ladies of Charity. She helped build Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, and Saint Henry Catholic Church. She was a diligent worker. She also worked for Sacred Heart Catholic School for 8 years.
She was proceeded by her parents, Siblings, Francis Jackson, Mae Willer Berard, Mildred Gardner Jackie, Rosa Gardner Polk, and Willie Gardner.
She leaves to cherish one daughter Donna Reed (Leon), one son Donald Weingarden, two Grandchildren Marquiesha Harper, Mason Weingarden, one Great Granddaughter Ketara Harper. Four Nieces, Lara Antione, Gwendalyn Antione, Avery Antione, and Savitra Collins. One Nephew Andrew Collins.
Visitation will be Saturday December 28, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. in Combre Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral will be Saturday December 28, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. in Combre Funeral Home Chapel.
