Lucille Eaglin Smith,78, a former resident of Lake Charles LA passed away on June 20, 2021 after living a beautiful life full of love. Lucille was born to Ignatius and Mildred Eaglin on January 10, 1943 in Bell View La where she was raised along with her 7 siblings.

Mrs. Smith is proceeded in death by her late husband Larry Smith, daughter Kimberly Rogers, her parents, and her siblings Desmond Eaglin, Louise Duplichan, Catherine Eaglin, Charles Eaglin, and Helen Eaglin. Lucille leaves to mourn her passing her children Jerry Rogers (Abigail), Dion Smith, and Deona Smith; siblings  Martin Eaglin Sr (Natalie) , Diane Eaglin, and Truman Eaglin; her 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandkids; and a host of other family and friends.

The family wants to give thanks to the staff of Combre Funeral Home, Lake Charles Memorial Hospital and also the Amediysys Hospice for helping with the care of Lucille. We would also like to give a special thanks to all family and friends for the prayer and support.
