LAKE CHARLES Mahaley Mouton, 57, was called home on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
She was born on Dec. 8, 1957, to Thomas Mouton Sr. and Geraldine Payton Young. She was a native of Lake Charles. She graduated in 1978 from Marion High School. She was a active member of Greater St. Mary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor SamuelC. Tolbert.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories two daughters, Jarraven A. and Geraldine L. Mouton; two brothers, Minister Daniel Sr. and Thomas Jr. Mouton; one sister Winnie Marie Delafosse; one stepbrother, Edwin Young; three stepsisters, Sarah Antoine, Louise Young and Martha (Johnny) Lewis; two sisters-in-law Alvina P. and Debra Mouton; one godchild, Mariah K.D. Mouton; along with a host of other precious relatives and friends.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, in Greater St. Mary Baptist Church. The Rev. Samuel Tolbert will officiate. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Combre Funeral Home. Visitation is from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Tuesday in the church.
