Malcolm Joseph Fontenot, Jr, 43 years old was born August 9, 1978 in Lake Charles, LA. He was the second of the children to Malcolm Joseph Fontenot, Sr. and Thelma LeDay Fontenot.

He received his sacraments from Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and School where he played basketball. He is a graduate of A.M. Barbe High School. He was employed with Alfred Miller. Malcolm enjoyed going crabbing and shrimping. He loved cooking and enjoyed family gatherings.

He is preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Joseph Fontenot, Sr.; his paternal and maternal grandparents, Irvin (Nettie) Fontenot and Werlin (Sayretha) Bellow.

Malcolm is survived by his mother, Thelma Fontenot; one daughter, Mikyra Fontenot; two sons, Antonio Scott and Malcolm Fontenot, lll; three sisters, Kim (James) Poullard, Latrica Fontenot, April (McKinsey) Thomas; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be missed dearly especially during our beloved family gatherings. Loved by many!
