Margia Celestine, 90 passed away peacefully on the evening of Thursday, July 12, 2018 in a local nursing home. On July 9, 1928 in Pineville, Louisiana. Margia was born to the union of Vina Durousseaux Guillory and Gabriel Guillory. Mrs. Celestine's sister, Anne Rene and her brothers Joseph Guillory and Matthew Guillory preceded her in death.

She is survived by her loving family of four children: Lenford Celestine (Imogene), Linda Mapp, Patricia Valsin (Al) and Ronny Celestine (Shirley). In addition, Ms. Celestine is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sister, Eltra Trahan.

Margia was a dedicated and hard working lady. She enjoyed gardening and growing her own vegetables. For several years, she was a member of The Christian Ladies. While impacting many in her life, Margia loved good food and socializing. Listening to Zydeco music and dancing was a fun pastime for her as well. The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude for their kindness and heartfelt care of our mother and grandmother.
