Margie Theresa Arceneaux-Davis,78, died June 18, 2013 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in St. Landry Parish (Bellevue), she spent most of her life in Richmond California before returning home to Lake Charles, Margie Theresa will forever be loved and remembered by her devoted daughters Winnifred Joan Davis and Virgie Lee Young, of Lake Charles, treasured grandchildren Julius Davis and Sikia Blue of Vallejo California, great grandchildren Elijah Robinson, Juliana, Jada, Joseph and Dillon Davis, Chanel and Shanette Marshallof Vallejo California and two honorary great grandchildren Kyndal Rose Bilboand Ethan James Bell of Lake Charles, LA. Loving sisters, Bernice (A.B.) Kennerson,Bernadette Bell, and Virgie (Thomas) Young and her loving brother James G. Arceneaux all of Lake Charles, caring aunt Mary Shiloh of Opelousas, LA., along with countless other friends and family, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Paul Arceneaux Sr. and Roselia Joseph Arceneaux, Son Joseph Gary Davis brothers Leo Paul Arceneaux Jr., Arthur Arceneaux, and Charles Arceneaux and sisters Birdie Pickens and Mary Elzina Arceneaux.

God sent the most wonderful Doctor who took excellent care of her Dr. Leroy Fredericks along with the nursing and staff of Lake Charles Memorial and the Home Health Team of Christus St. Patricks showing undying love and compassion to her and her family as well.

Margie known as "Nanny or Granny" by many, touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of respect, by only giving "the look" she will be missed dearly by all that were blessed to have known her.
