Margie Peltier-Plumber was born on April 20, 1934 to the late Theophile Peltier Sr. and Antionette Batiste-Peltier in Lafayette Louisiana.
Margie was baptized at early age in Lafayette Parish where she also attended school at the Holy Rosary Catholic School. Upon her family's arrival to Westlake Louisiana she joined and became a member of Saint John the Bosco of Westlake Louisiana.
Margie worked for Orlin Mills where she met and married her husband Phillip Plumber Sr. and to this union seven kids were born. Margie also attended Sowela Technical College where received her nurse's certification and was employed by Rosewood Nursing Home in Lake Charles LA for over 30 years.
Margie loved cooking and baking for her kids and grandkids. She loved to joke and all of her grandkids knew they always had a meal and place to stay. She was one of the kindest people and always made her family feel loved. Everyone that knew Margie knew she loved her Soap Operas, Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, the 5'oclock news, Life Time and NCiS. She also loved mystery novels.
Margie Leaves to cherish her memories six daughters and one son: Patricia P. McCray, Elizabeth P. Jackson, Sandra P. Guillory, and Charles (Alicia Mechelle) Plumber all of Lake Charles LA, Mary P. Wiltz of Beaumont TX., Catherine P. Bell of Virginia, and Norma Plumber of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Sibling's two sisters: Josephine Peltier and Mary Hardy of Westlake LA., and one brother Theophile Peltier of Lake Charles/ LA. 13 grand kids and 13 great grand kids. And host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Theophile and Antionette Peltier, Her husband Phillip Plumber Sr., sisters Margaret and Alice Peltier, great niece D'Onna Hardy and grandson Patrick Jackson Jr.
