Mark Wayne Dronet, age 60, a resident of Lake Charles, LA, passed away onOctober 12, 2016 at St. Patrick Hospital with his family by his side.

Mark was a dedicated alumnus of Grambling State University and employee ofWashington-Marion High School. A member of Good Sheperd Episcopal Churchand active participant in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Parish. Markwas preceded in death by his parents Rena Dronet Metz of Lake Charles, LA;and Robert and Alma Joseph of Crowley, LA. Mark is survived by hissiblings: Linda (James) Lewis-Clemons and Juanita Trent of Houston, TX;Herbert Lewis of Lake Charles, LA; Mary Dronet of Ruston, LA; and Brenda(Tyrone) Rogers of Mobile, AL; two devoted nieces- Tiffany and Tyra Rogersof Houston, TX; and a host of relatives and close friends.

Service date: October 22, 2016

The funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lake Charles. Visitation will be heldfrom 9:00a.m. until 11:40a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Combre Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Combre Funeral Home.
