MARY Z. DEVILLE "Zee Zee" was born August 15, 1928 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Oliver
and Leona Deville. Mary attended Sacred Heart Catholic School. She worked at St. Patrick's
Hospital for 30 plus years where she remained until she retired.

She was baptized at early age at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she remained a lifelong
member until her passing. She was member of Hospitality Committee, The Bazar Committee, and
she worked the Bingo for the church. Mary loved her family, they were her life. She made sure
everyone of us were ok. She was a very strong woman and she was our rock. She endured a lot of
death in her family over the last three years yet she still remained strong. She loved cooking,
listening Zydeco, going to the casino, doing word find puzzle books, playing Pitty Pat for quarters,
"She would always say, Pull for Me" and last be not least listening to Smokey Robinson music.

On Thursday, November 18, 2021 God looked out into His beautiful garden to pick a lovely rose,
Mary Z. Deville to add to His glorious ever growing bouquet in His Heavenly Home. She will be
dearly loved and missed by all who knew her.

Mary leaves to cherish his memories her son, Albert (Angie) Deville; her daughters, Sandra
Chretien, Brenda Dellafosse, Diana (David) Nickerson and Jackie (Leroy) Guidry; 29 grandchilden,
57 great grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren; two lifelong friends, Ms. Annie Prater and
Ms. Arvella Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was the matriarch
of the family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three children, Leonard Deville, John Deville and
Linda Chretien; three sisters, Rose Granger, Ivory Durisseau and Cecilia Solomon; four
grandchildren, Albert Deville, Jr., Derrick Deville, Leonard Deville, and Jeremy Chretien,; four great
grandchildren, Devin Bronson, Emmanuel Young, Piper Boutte, and Lacey Deville.
