Mary "Twig" Duncan a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother departed this life Saturday, May 25, 2019.  She was born October 16, 1946 to the late Joseph England and Edith Braxton.  She grew up in Pineville, Louisiana then moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana.  She met her late husband Harold Duncan whom she was married to for 20 plus years.  Out of their marriage came four children, the late David Duncan, Cheryl McCain, Becky Victorian, and Donna Duncan.

Mary was a faithful member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church which she loved and cared about dearly.  She loved her family and friends and would have done anything for them.  Mary loved to listen to her music, play cards, enjoy family, and laugh.  She would even sneak off to the casino at times.  Mary loved each one of her grandchildren and great grandchildren even though they got on her last nerve at times.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph England & Edith Braxton; husband Harold Duncan; two brothers Leroy "Boodoo" Perkins, & Wilbert "Duke" England; 3 sisters Barbara England, Patsy McGowan, & Patricia Bonton; and son David Duncan.

Her memory will live on by her daughters Cheryl (Mack) McCain, Becky Victorian, & Donna Duncan all of Lake Charles, Louisiana.  Her legacy will live on by her thirteen grandchildren Ross, Chris (Jill), Ja'Coya, Justin, Ashton, Kristen, David, Marquetta, Shawn, Patience, Juwan, Nikki, Magen, and a host of great grandchildren and close friends.
