Obituary

Born May 5, 1936, in Washington, Louisiana, Mary was raised in Roanoke, LA and moved to Lake Charles in her teen years where she worked as a waitress at Paw Paw's Seafood Restaurant and later began a 29 years career as a Customer Service Supervisor and retired as the personnel manager at JC Penneys. During that time, she also began a lifelong journey of serving her community as a board member of The United Way of Southwest Louisiana, a eucharistic minister and Alter Society President for St. Theodore's Catholic Church, and lead many church committees at her church in Sun City, California. Mary was a devout catholic, a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, loving granny, and a selfless person who donated her time, energy, and passion to serving others.

She leaves to mourn her husband Horace Hollier, her sister, Alice Hardemion; her daughters, Susan (Patrick) Wiley, Kem (Williard) Coleman, Pamela (Brandon) Perry, Andrea Francis, Tammey (Jonathan) Cook, Anita (Julian) Barker, Cheryl Hollier and Denise Williams; her sons, Chris (Althea) Hall, Walter (Karla) Hall, Alvin Hollier and Lloyd Hollier; 25 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren 8 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her maternal parents, Lawrence and Beatrice Green; her brothers, Henry Thomas, Chester Thomas, Frank Thomas, Lawrence Green Jr; her sisters, Louise Jones, Regina Carrier, and Leola Green; her son, Richard Leon Jenkins.

A Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. lead by The Altar Society and Catholic Daughters.
