Melanie Dise-Victorian, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, entered her heavenly rest on September 13, 2024, with her husband and granddaughter by her bedside.
Melanie was born on August 6, 1963, in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the union of John and Elaine Dise. She grew up being the youngest of six siblings in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Melanie graduated from Technical High School and attended STCC College in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Melanie and Larry have been married for fifteen years. Together they raised their beautiful granddaughter, Lauren Dise.
Melanie was employed as a Paraprofessional with the Calcasieu Parish School Board and worked at Barbe Elementary School for over thirty years. She loved her job and was very dedicated to her students and staff at Barbe Elementary. In her downtime, Melanie enjoyed shooting pool and bowling.
Melanie was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Lake Charles.
Melanie is survived by her loving husband, Larry Victorian, and loving granddaughter, Lauren Dise, both of Lake Charles, Louisiana; her mother, Elaine Dise, of Springfield, Massachusetts; her brothers, Michael Dise (Carman) of Leesburge, Florida, and David Dise (Karina) of Springfield, Massachusetts; and her sisters, Diannie Angus (Tony), Barbara Dise, and Susan Dise, all of Springfield, Massachusetts.
She was preceded in death by her two loving daughters, Meghan and Melissa Dise; her loving father, John Dise; and her loving sister, Patsy Dise.
Along with her family, she leaves to mourn the staff and students of Barbe Elementary School and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
She will forever be remembered and loved by all who knew her.
