Michael Joseph Wayne Bowman, 60, departed this life on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 8:05 pm in a local hospital. Michael  Joseph Wayne Bowman was born on September 16, 1951 to the late Joseph Noel and Julia Lee Bowman. He was the second oldest child out of eleven children. Michael was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was a graduate of W.O. Boston High School.

Michael loved spending time with his family, his children, and his grandchildren.  He enjoyed cooking, sports, cards, dominoes, and yahoo bingo. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church where he once worked and ushered for 39 years until his sudden illness. He had worked several different jobs, but was best known for his work at The Black Angus     Restaurant. Michael will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Noel and Julia Lee Bowman, a brother Gary Glenn Gregory Bowman, and a sister Trena Lisa Bowman.

He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters Brandy Harmon of Lake Charles,   Louisiana, Kimberly Graham of Boston, Massachusetts and Tammy Anderson of Houston, Texas. One son Nathaniel Malveaux of Lake Charles, Louisiana; two stepdaughters Vanessa (Reverend Tim) Ceasar of Sulphur, Louisiana and Cherice DeCloutte of Lake Charles,   Louisiana. His estranged spouse Rosetta Anderson Bowman of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Three brothers Gwain Lane Bowman, Ron Trent Bowman, both of Lake Charles, Louisiana and André Pernell Bowman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five  sisters Brenda Joyce Johnson of     Leesville, Louisiana; Gwainette Joy Bowman, Sheril Lynn Bowman, and Charmaine Reneé (Jason) Charles all of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Troy Romell (Lee) LeDay of Laccasine, Louisiana; nine grandchildren and six step grand-children. One aunt Mrs. Willie Mae Lute of Lake Charles, Louisiana;  and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
